We recently got to provide event photography for an exclusive event at SLS Miami Beach Hotel, hosted by TBD, a project under Block, Inc. It was an afterparty slash brand activation that took place during one of the evenings of the Bitcoin 2023 Conference.

It was – blockchain with a touch of retro games and TBD’s yellow branding taking over the outside area of the SLS. TBD went all out, with over 20 staff members making sure guests had a great time while learning about Web3.

Now as far as the SLS Miami Beach Hotel. Iconic pool? Check. Retro gaming stations with Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo? Double check. Street Fighter II and Mario Kart battles? Yessir! The SLS, which opened in 2012, is one of the top venues for corporate events with a little bit of edge.

We captured the energy, the fun, and made sure every moment was captured without getting in the way. But next time we get invited to shoot a retro gaming themed party, we may or may not hog the controller. See the photos.
